“Transformed Tears” | Psalm 56:8 | Psalm 126:5-6 | Matthew 5:4
šLetter to the tender-hearted quietly grieving behind the screen,
I want you to know and feel deeply in your heart that itās OKAY…
…just to grieve.
It may be easy to feel the pressure to āsolveā the pain by a positive perspective or hopeful words. To move on, to weep a few seconds and then re-focus elsewhere.
ā¤ļøā𩹠But pain needs to be healed, not solved.
Not that words are bad. Or that positive perspectives are harmful. Words are needed, positive perspectives are a good thing.
šBut healing can mean just stepping away for a really good cry and sitting still in the pain. Feeling it. Letting it weigh.
šIt’s okay just to cry.
It’s okay to hurt. To really hurt.
To feel it.
To let God hold you.
So cry, tender heart.
Your tears are seen. ā¤ļøāš©¹
