It’s there.
Waiting to be found.
Hidden beauty.
The question is …do we take the opportunity?
It can be easy to see and highlight the gray. The dirt. The cold. The parts of life that are hard, difficult or challenging.
But just like a photographer can take an image and work with it to create something more beautiful …so too, we can take what is around us and find the good–beautifying it with thanksgiving.
Perhaps there’s a cancelled event …where is the silver lining? It’s there.
Perhaps there’s an unfulfilled desire …how is God at work in your life? He is always doing what is right for you.
Perhaps there’s a project that feels overwhelming …how can you lean on God? He is always trustworthy and reliable.
How would our lives change if we created art from it–seeing all of life through the perspective of the Gospel? Viewing all that is around us in the light of who He is?
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18
