1. Host an Encouragement Meal
Choose an art print to build your theme on, and design a tablescape inspired by it. Place a freshly printed version of the art print on each person’s plate. Use the Scripture verse on the art print as a guide for discussion questions. You may even want to use this free printable to spark some good conversations over Isaiah 61:3.
2. Make an Extra Big Card and Send it with a Smile
Cut out or use some 8.5×11 pieces of paper to create a large greeting card. Add tape to the binding inside and out and gently washi tape the printed 8×10 art print to the front. Write a note of encouragement, and/or use the printable cut outs provided. You may want to sign off, “Sending a smile your way!” :)
3. Host a Quiet “Retreat with Jesus” Stay Over
Set up your guest room with quiet, worshipful music, battery-operated candles (if available), an extra cozy blanket and some pillows. You may want to consider loaning some Bible study resources and maybe printing off a few one-page Bible studies! If you like essential oils, put on the diffuser. Make a point to provide a simple meal for supper and then allow your friend to spend the rest of the time quietly alone with Jesus. On the front door of the guest room, tape up a welcome sign with an art print gently attached to it. The print will be a lovely gift to take home that will perhaps remind her of this special retreat!
